It's also not common. The interaction where you spend eight energy to double exile is not common material in any way shape or form.

That has little to do with rarity. Ie. Scour from Existence and Universal Solvent are acceptable commons.

Both of those have the condition "You have 'win-the-game' mana available" as a condition :)

Four energy is a lot easier to reach. 8 still a bit easier.

I like the card; it's pleasing, and the trick is discoverable and a good learning curve.

Is it too cheap and too common? Maybe. It's certainly a scary good fit in a deck which has "This is my land-accel, it happens to generate energy. And this is my creature boost, it happens to generate energy. I guess '{2}: Exile a target creature or two' is my energy sink."

Yeah, like vitenka said, 7 mana is the minimum where you get unconditional colorless removal
