How does one make a sorcery speed burn that doesn't target, affects only one target, and can act as a removal?

I made one once that had eleven or more words. ^^

I think we'll eat a red flag here for the target and make some basic burn variant like Lightning Strike or Flame Lash (since its already a red flag might as well be an instant?).

Just leaving this here: Blazing Volley. We'll likely still want a spell that deals high damage to a single target, but maybe we can table that until later and just put a targeted burn spell at uncommon for now.
