Skittish Kavu meets Plated Rootwalla. I like the concept, but I don't like the wording. Heck, the wording alone is forcing this common to be an uncommon. How annoying. And that "Activate this once per turn" line just adds icing to the cake when it comes to complexity points. I just don't know how to simplify this without going to "-2/-2 if your opponent controls a W, U or B creature" which doesn't seem as fun...

I think that would be fine, particularly if you wanted to make it a common. This version is pretty mad; it made me think you'd crossed Rootwalla with Draco or something!

Originally cost {r} {g} and got the penalty with white creatures also. Set needed a 2 cost green common creature, though, and this does a good job fitting the bill. Got considerably stronger in the exchange, too... but that's a pretty stiff activation, and I can always make it activate for more.
