First mashup, and hitting the random card button I get Ghitu Encampment and Sprouting Thrinax. Neat! There's even a Lizard sub-theme going on.

I like the card, though, I can already see the biggest obstacle this set will have - complexity points up the ying-yang. While I would like to keep the (comes into play tapped) line, I think I will have to give it my own mechanic of 'wash to colorless' mana adding to help dwindle the text.

Also, it's quite possible that the "put three lizards into play" may be too much. Round 1 Crack the Earth never looked so good. Still, even if you were doing it intentionally, it seems like a fair trade, so I'm keeping it for now. I don't want to add it to the activation cost for a number of reasons...

Working on the rare lands. I had three that asked to be mono-color lands including this one, so I tied them all into a cycle, presuming I'll pick up the blue and the black one later on.

There was a bit of monkeying on the first line of all the cards, but I simplified them by just changing it to "{t}: Add {1}" and making the second ability require the correct colored mana.

This card originally activated to turn into a 3/1 first striker, then had a line that put 3 1/1 lizards into play if you destory it. If you look at my previous notes, this is the first card in Mashup land, and I was being a bit literal back then. I still kind of want this to turn into a creature on activation... but its too much to track. As it stands, 3 lizards for sacrificing a land is probably too much, if we're to belive Gods' Eye, Gate to the Reikai, which was, believe it or not, actually used. Geez. Granted, it came with it's own mode of blowing itself up, but that involved sacrificing two lands for 2 1/1s, one land of which could never be used for mana...

Anyhow, I simultaneously don't like how this isn't very strong or generally useful, and how this is really unfair when put in the right deck. That's weird. Maybe those two balance and this card is good. I don't know.

Hellion Crucible suggests that this should have the colourless-land frame.

I do like the idea of this in a land-sacrificing deck.

Huh. So it does. Altering.

You used to be able to activate this card multiple times, which isn't what I meant. You still can, I guess... but now the card doesn't go nuts.
