Now uses phasing tech. Flavor less clear, and can now die to curse of death's hold, but doesn't need the ugly "~ entering the battlefield doesn't cause abilities to trigger line."

That's one heck of an upgrade on Darksteel Myr, eh?

This phasing version almost certainly needs a higher cost, actually, now that it keeps counters and attachments. Maybe something like "You may put ~ in the command zone anytime you could cast an instant. If you do, you may return it to the battlefield phased out anytime you could cast an instant." That wouldn't keep stuff, and could be ruled to not trigger any ETB effects without having to write that out.
