As a Zoologist, shouldn't this pull a creature?
Oh my. Cards haven't cared about graveyard order in a long time. Are you sure you want to bring this back? It matters so little so often that people I know reorganize their graveyards as the need suits them.
I'm going back and forth as to whether targeting a card in a graveyard to tuck (put on bottom of deck) is too much for a green activated ability. If I go targeted, it'll have to be either a tap ability or a triggered one; letting an uncommon card just power-recycle anything repeatedly goes places I don't think I'm ready for.
I'm of the opinion that this should either be a bigger creature or cheaper. For six mana-and double green-this does not have a commanding impact on the board in any format I can think of. 5/5 seems better though I often see 4/6 in the stats when I search.
The Evidence trigger conflicts a little bit with the name. I like the name and the first ability; it just seems like a Salvager would go after a nonland permanent-like that might be the kind of thing that causes his death. That doesn't have to be fixed: I know it's the green evidence thread, and it's not a 'Wha??' or illogical.
Are any of the giants employed by Soradyne? Because I could see this changed to something like "Soradyne Terraformer".
I've nudged his toughness up by one.
That said, this guy definitely has problems. I'm considering just dropping the evidence trigger all together. I've put evidence on Grounding Theory, so I've got a spare uncommon example here green.
In the world I'm seeing here, most of the "key player" races are intelligent. Okay, goblins aren't the brightest, but even they find ways to function here and there. So yeah, Soradyne does indeed employ giants—Soradyne Geologist for example. It's a large, multi-faceted corporation in a technomantically advanced culture. Even those raised and living in rural settings can bring valuable skills to the science business (just ask Monsanto).
