Was a 2/3 Ox w/ first strike, but no reason for that body and ability to go together in common.

I liked having an ox creature. :( Is there something to compare this to? I'm always wary of first strike creatures sometimes they can easily dominate a format but that would probably become apperant in playtesting.

Well, it's arguably not as good as Porcelain Legionnaire, but good enough I think for this environment.

First strikers with power 3+ are very good in limited. Halberdier is the simplest version; there's also Keldon Halberdier and, as SFletcher mentioned, the absurdly strong Porcelain Legionnaire.

Ah, ok 3/1 first strike for 4 cost does sound normal. Maybe I just have a prejudice against first strike more often than against most of the other more common abilities.
