Not sure that this works as a mythic - may need to downgrade to a rare. Thoughts?
a 1/1 for 6 is kinda...underwhelming. Hafta hope mass Artifact removal is scarce.
Yeah, the underwhelmingness is the problem. I'm hoping people's eyes will go to the text box. I'd like to make it the other way round - an oversized creature with something that shrinks it - but mythics generally want to be all-upside apart from exceptional cases. Maybe I'll just bin this idea for the moment.
Maybe you could have its power be equal to the number of artifacts you control muliplied by five and the toughness be that number +1.
That's an excellent suggestion. */* doesn't feel anywhere near as small as 1/1. Thanks! I think I'm okay with it dying if you have no artifacts - a little bit of risk is fine on a mythic, I think.

I wonder if this card is an argument against including artifact lands in the set. Or equivalently, if the artifact lands in the set are an argument against this card existing.
Good point. There's only 3 lands rather than 6, but if I play all of them I could easily get three lands and two artifacts by turn 6, and then this would be 20/20. You could make some legendary, or make this have a bigger bonus but only count connectors or (if you can find wording) only count monotype artifacts.
Or Make it 4 plus the number of Artifacts you control, with Artifact Lands this would still feel plenty mythic. Figure 1 artifact a turn & this will be 10/10 when it first pops up. Heck, really play it up.
4 + # artifacts you control. Artifacts you control are Indestructible
gotta kill the dragon to get at its hoard.
Needing two artifacts to get an 8/8 for 6 didn't feel like enough hoops. Trying at 3X/3X, so two artifacts make it a 6/6, three or more make it a 9/9 or bigger.
4X -> 3X
