Hmm. This ability is normally white or blue, and sometimes green.

Creatures that return creatures to their owner's hand isn't unknown in red, though. Oni of Wild Places and Stalking Yeti come to mind.

I guess the mechanic makes more sense in G, W and U, and I can dig how it should be primary in those three, but I can't see why it can't be used in every color on occasion. 'Gating' seems too useful a mechanic to just squander on three colors.
