I'm not sure it would exist at this cost, especially at that toughness... But it would go in most of my white control decks and would certainly go in my Ephara EDH.

­Thraben Doomsayer exists, as does Commander's Authority. I guess Human tokens are less useful than Soldier tokens though. This is a very nice blocker too, though any time you block with it you risk it.
