Isn't this just worse than Psychic Intrusion? I mean, it even has the same CMC and type.
EDIT: Oops, forgot you had to pay for the one you get with Psychic Intrusion.

Not only that, but this is a common. I'm pretty sure the casting cost is about as low as you can go on a preemptive Spelljack at common...

Edit: Oh, but then again, this is for a cube, eh? Well, I suppose all power-level and commonality arguments get thrown out the window there.
