I find "enters the battlefield or attacks" to be an epic wording because I associate it with M11's titans, and I would just use that line if I am referencing them. Here, it seems awfully mundane.

It's a feel thing, and it's a small thing, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

hmm yeah i can see that. maybe i should change it to etb or blocking, as it is a 1/2? what do you think?

A bird without flying?

You know, I kind of like etb or blocking. It's obviously not on the same level as the Titans, but it's got that 'could you imagine' feel to it.

Though, it's also got the potential of creating locked board among inexperienced players, who can't seem to figure out that sometimes it's okay to concede a minor advantage to their opponent. I'd be careful about putting too much of that at common.

Aren't Strix specifically those etherium owls from Esper?

jmgariepy: It's a Cube.

This is slightly better. But why not just "whenever it blocks" period?

i like the idea of it also scrying when it etbs, but i could see it being a lot simpler without that.
