the protecting player may draw a card.
I feel, it would be a lot more natural to have an enchantment on the back face rather than a sorcery creating an emblem.
While I don't disagree on the face value, the initial card was designed to be an Epic sorcery.
The inspiration was to be evocative of setting down the controller and watching the credits playout after completing the final boss / stage, while something interesting occurs.
I was unable to find a way to work similar function into the rules around Epic, but I also knew that I didn't want for the backside to be negated should the spell be cast by defeating the battle.
