Rockman Commander Deck

Rockman Beyond: Cardlist | Visual spoiler | Export | Booster | Comments | Search | Recent activity

This card set is meant to be a custom gift for a friend. It will be 100 cards in total, with multiple options for commander. It is meant to be a top down design, and flavor will more often than not edge out balance.

The primary build will be Enchantress / Auras matter, leveraging the Role mechanic from Eldraine to mimic / mirror the system in Megaman swapping weapons.

On Energy Capsule:

Hrm. That does add some interesting choices. Though concerns regarding finality counter interaction have already been brought up with local testing.

On Energy Capsule:

i would suggest the 2nd choice from the choose one should have some kind of trigger for when you choose to remove one counter of your choice

On Dr. Wily's Castle:

While I don't disagree on the face value, the initial card was designed to be an Epic sorcery.

The inspiration was to be evocative of setting down the controller and watching the credits playout after completing the final boss / stage, while something interesting occurs.

I was unable to find a way to work similar function into the rules around Epic, but I also knew that I didn't want for the backside to be negated should the spell be cast by defeating the battle.

On Dr. Wily's Castle:

I feel, it would be a lot more natural to have an enchantment on the back face rather than a sorcery creating an emblem.
