First, the name of this card isn't appropriate to what it does. Information comes in the form of the library and this card doesn't interact with that at all. It could be redone to say:

"Whenever a spell is cast during combat, put an awareness counter on FoI. At the beginning of your upkeep, scry x, where x= the number of counters on FoI."

Not extremely white but it does interact with information. Still, how to link a combat trick with information, OR combat trick with life.

The flavor text, if applicable, should definitely be "Information wants to be free." Very old reference but still...

The card does what I intend it to do, but the name is likely wrong.

This should be called 'Self Fix-It Kit'
