So, they have a bird in a cage and when they die, the cage topples and breaks, releasing the bird.

The set wants some death-triggers to benefit the sacrifice outlets in all colors and something has to produce the Carrier token.

Carrier tokens are hard to pin down since they are almost definitely card advantage. Hence this belongs at uncommon.
