A discussion on Goblin Artisans made me think, what's the opposite of "destroy target attcking creature"? Here it is. Has this been done before?

I'm interested because it seems white -- very harsh, and yet you can play round it if you do it right. The rules text is a little clunky, but a lot better than my first effort. (Attacking player is rarely used on cards, but it is sometimes.)

The opponent can dodge it by never attacking or attacking with everything, but they let themselves get vulnerable if they keep a utility creature or a bomb back. Regenerators become vulnerable when they regenerate.

Thanks for this, I like it!

Thank you! I completely forgot I made this card, I'm glad it's in a set that suits it!

Yeah, it fits quite good here, I just need a nice pic for it.

Might this need the wording "Play only when the cretaure's controller declares attackers"?

Because otherwise, well, play it during their end step when none of their creatures are attacking? Or does "non-attacking" cover that part?

I guess a player is only an attacking player during combat and only if he has at least declared one creature to attack.

Neuromancer is correct: 506.2 defines "attacking player" only during combat.
