Not build to last.
Doesn't this just mean it can never attack and deal damage, and that it's an infinitely durable blocker?
added "at end of combat"
Um; so the whole difference is it's not a creature during your main2? Isn't that pretty much trinket text?
Well, apparently the missing reminder text is necessary...
added "(This effect lasts indefinitely.)"
Um - but it's already a vehicle? Then you crew it, and it becomes a creature until end of turn. Then it goes back to being a vehicle; only slightly sooner now?
It's also a creature, so you get a free attack out of it without the need to crew it.
No you don't. Because then it won't be a creature anymore. Do you mean blocks or becomes blocked? That's actually pretty strong defensively. Maybe it should just be becomes blocked.
> Because then it won't be a creature anymore.
Huh? Did you read the delayed triggered ability correctly?
You're right I didn't.
Huh... getting an initial free attack really doesn't seem obvious.
It isn't. It presumes that people will identify what's different in the type line, which I think we're proving that they won't. Can I make a suggestion? What if this artifact had haste, and "When this artifact enters the battlefield, it becomes a creature in addition to its other types until end of turn."
It's not the same vehicle. But it isn't far off. Power level is about on par as well (if not stronger.)
