Random Generator gave me Auriok Steelshaper and Thermal Blast. There's a lot of fiddly little things going on in this card, but I think it works as a whole. I rather like the "Equip to a Knight" part. I could see that happening more often on normal tribal equipment. Even if you felt that you needed reminder text for normal equip, you could get away with something like ": Attach to a creature you control, or, : Attach to a Knight you control. Equip only as a sorcery."

I really like "Equip to a Knight". I like the card in general, though it's certainly not where I'd have gone with this.

These days though, when I hear "thermal lance" I can't help thinking of something quite different...

Heh. That's kind of funny. I don't really play Starcraft, so the reference I made is lost on myself. It seems like the longer and longer the internet exists, the more likely every single two word combination will lead to some in-joke or oddball reference.
