Yes, I am the original. OK, off to apply changes. EDIT: New version. Now closer to "reengineer lord"
It was just initial rambling thought. That should work better, no?
redundant should be deleted
This card is worded in a very complex/unusual fashion for a quite straightforward effect. Also since it does not use "Reveal cards [...] until [something happens]" technology it can actually end up in an infinite loop if there are no more permanents left in your library.
That would be a stupid way to end up in a draw.
While triggers that only happen on death are cool for creatures which interact with the board in multiple ways, the same cannot be said for noncreature artifacts.
I suggest a ETB/Death trigger like Blueprints or Ichor Wellspring.
I like puns, but dislike typos.
Could probably work at uncommon with a smaller discount/body.
Also possibly monowhite.
Interesting, but not the right size for its cost. I know, you get something out of it, when it dies. Still the option to be useful while on the battlefield would be nice.
Because we need to make our own Birchlore Rangers. ^^
I actually aimed for stronger ramp with the original design. Should be kept in mind for playtesting.
Could also be merged with Sylvan Spiritualist if they appear too redundant.
I am aware that the Duel Decks will be pretty much self-contained. Nevertheless I am certain, people who go to the effort to print the cards will also want to use them in other decks, maybe a Custom Card Cube etc.
So using a less parasitic trigger than "when you pray" on a few cards seems like a good idea.
This is my suggestion in that direction.
Both fair points
Ramp for the deck that needs to hit seven mana. May need to be uncommon.
Comparable to Vitu-Ghazi, the City-Tree now.
I personally think ETBT is not necessary.
I think the seven creature requirement makes the token ability basically unusable - and does nothing to actually add to your number of creatures when you need them most... maybe "if you control an Angel or Cleric"?
This is no longer mixing "battlefield" with "into play". Now uses mana braces.
What happened to the "no reprint" policy? I personally like Angelic Wall as a reprint if we have any.
While I have nothing in general against the card, I think it would help to distinguish the two decks if colored artifacts were restricted to the Science deck.
This could easily be an enchantment and would be in a normal set.
obviously needs to be a Cleric and have a preliminary name
Aspiring Aeronaut specifies colorless.
colorless needn't be specified
Alternate submission for the UR multicoloured legend.
Not sure if it is easy to notice it triggers off of other Re-engineer cards, but I think it plays fine even if they don't notice.
See Massey, Engine Manager.
If your the original creator of the card then change it however you like. Otherwise make a copy of the card and edit that.
