  Heh, hybrid between Mana Flare and Heartbeat of Spring? Fair enough :)

  If you put brackets () or braces {} around the hybrid symbols in the cost, by the way, then Multiverse will detect the frame colour correctly and colour this hybrid rather than gold.

  But a 1/1 with flash costs - Zealous Guardian - and a 1/1 with lifelink also costs - Nip Gwyllion. Combining both to get seems bad to me.

  Compare to Ajani's Sunstriker. to is usually reasonable and changing it from a 2/2 to a 1/1 with flash also seems even. I think it's fine.

  Ok I'm tweaking it a little more. I'll be upping the flashback cost and also changing it so that it can't hit Planeswalkers.

  Mmm, it's costly; but "Blow up my opponents combo, and cripple whatever they were trying to do" with "Oh, and do it again next turn, in case I had to double-tap them due to hexpoofing equipment or something" -

  This isn't game winning on its own; but it's mighty strong. So cost 6. And this is 5 with tri-colour. It'll be format warping, but seems fair.

  Both shots at this are still significantly cheaper than Violent Ultimatum, without even considering that you get to do it twice. It can't hit lands, but at this point do you really need to?
