I started it at 3/7 but lowered it since I was looking for a strong 4CMC defender in green. 2/6 seems like a good mid point though.
Hm, a Giant Spider that can't attack. I guess that's a fair tradeoff for getting +0/+1; could probably even go to 2/6.
I guess so? I'd still never bother putting it in a deck, personally, which makes it hard for me to rate.
Still, it's a finisher - get your opponent ready for a lock down and draw whatever your win combo is.
Miiiight be tastier if it was a fixed, large, number; rather than their hand? But then that loses the 'ok, draw your whole deck' shenanigans; so this way round is fine too.
so

would be a good cost?
Did you really mean 10? That's "Win the game. right now. And bake me a cake" territory.
Anyway, yes, should exist. 7 or 8 seems fine to me.
Mindculling was also uncommon and very easy to splash. At most I'd cost this at a CMC 10. Any higher and it matters not how strong it is it just won't get played.
Yeah, this cost looks plausible now. Mindculling says this has to be pretty expensive. It's a shame because it'll usually only hit for two or so, but I like it, it's a spell which should obviously exist somewhere :)
Just a note: Wit's End was more expensive and more rare than you've currently got here, and this is a lot better.
Good call I'll make it six mana, I was also thinking of having this be shuffled back into the library at the end of the effect.
Nice effect, and very nice name. Probably slightly more expensive than it needs to be - Evacuation is five mana, so I think this could be six.
I upped the activation to
, and upped the rarity. I'd like to still keep it in the playable range.
I'm set on keeping it symetrical in the creature fetching though, I like the risk involved.
There's also the combo of using a black spell to exiling the best creatures out of your opponent's library, or fetching a creature that doesn't care what your opponent puts on the table (such as Kederekt Leviathan or Magister of Worth.)
I admit, it's much easier to punch holes in the card's cost than to come up with a fair activation cost. The symmetry does mean something, but it's such an abusable symmetry (for example, you could drop an explosive 'enter the battlefield creature', then cast Evacuation or Curfew.)
Then there's the problem of 'This could have just been the creature itself.' Or, in other words, if this search through your library and can put an Iona, Shield of Emeria onto the battlefield, how is it any different than a fifth copy of Iona Shield of Emeria? Wouldn't that then infer that this should cost at least

? Technically, that line of thinking is flawed, since Tooth and Nail exists. (I know T&N puts two creatures into play for 9, but it's also worth noting that the card was printed over 10 years ago when huge creatures weren't as huge, and has no real peers.)
The closest card that just searches through a library and puts a creature into play that I know of is Green Sun's Zenith. You got to be really careful with that card, since it is occasionally the highest rated green card on Gatherer. But I think the
in the cost does a great job of solving a lot of the problems that everyone is bringing up. Personally, I think that if you made the activation
(and possibly added "X cannot be zero." Not sure.), that you could get rid of the kind of ugly 'doesn't untap next turn', and maybe even the parity of your opponent fetching a creature (though, the Spike in me does like the parity line. Especially if I've got tons of mana, but am putting 2 cost creatures into play because I know my opponent has none. Some Timmies, however, are bound to hate the parity. Group hug Timmies should be fine, though.) Even then, I think XX might be too cheap. Putting a 1 cost creature from your library into play ever turn for
is nothing to sneeze at... even if you're just using it for the sacrifices. As Link pointed out, Vhitu-Gazi puts a 1/1 on the battlefield for

. And that's a really good card.
Otherwise, the activation would have to be huge. A sorcery that just puts a creature onto the battlefield probably costs
. A land that activates to do that every turn? I'm not sure, but I would guess somewhere close to
. With enters the battlefield tapped, stays frozen one turn and parity? I'm just throwing numbers around at this point, but my best guess would be from
to
. By that point, you got to be asking "Who exactly am I making this land for?"
Yes it's similar Ashiok came out well after I made this (I'm slowly archiving my old creations here. This one was just after MSE added the PW template.) I'm not sure how shuffling something into the library helps the ultimate ability.
edit: oh doesn't, Well I didn't think that a -2 ability of that strength should help the ultimate ability.
Moderately similar to Ashiok. The fact that the middle ability doesn't synergize with the ultimate bothers me.
Would a cost of 5-6 work? I thought about costing it more, but anyone that activates it risks their opponent pulling some game winning creature out against them.
What do you all think that the activation cost should be?
I like it a lot better now, but it should still probably cost a bit more. For the white player with Iona, the green with that huge wurm from Ravnica, or anyone with Emrakul, the symmetry is totally broken.
