­Challenge # 006. I always thought Princess Lucrezia and Riven Turnbull were very strange, what with them costing 6-7 mana, only to give you... one more mana. I tried to imagine a scenario where after paying so much mana, you would be happy that the creature supplied you with a little more mana as well. Rising Waters seemed like a good choice...

On further reflection, Rising Waters was a bit too dominating for my tastes. Changed from "untap a land" to "untap two lands", which should still give you a high sense of control on a 5/4 beat stick, without auto-shutting down your opponent. I originally wanted this to have the line "When ~ enters the battlefield, tap all lands", but that was four lines of text, and four is a bit too many. If you want, you can imagine that that's a secret line of text she has, though.
