Wow. That captures the nasty feel of Cthulhu quite well, although I feel like it wants to be multicolour (red/black/blue?) and maybe do something weird and nasty to your oponents as well.

It's almost a blue demon, isn't it? What if I made it "Cthulhu is indestructible and doesnt untap during your untap step. At the beginning of your upkeep [to prevent multiplayer chaos], you may sacrifice another creature. If you do, untap Cthulhu. If you don't, Cthulhu deals 3 damage to each creature, each player, and each planeswalker [universal detonation!]." That way it also captures the flavor better.

Well, leviathans are blue. I could make it a black demon, but flavor-wise Cthulhu seems more blue.
