Another approach to "value after death" lords, while aiming it to give value through actual play rather than cheating into a graveyard.

For the second ability, I'd just make a regular "intervening if" trigger. "Whenever a Zombie creature you control attacks, if ~ is in your graveyard or on the battlefield, that creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn."

Oh. Heh. The first time I read this, I thought the First Zombie got the bonus... even when in the graveyard. Oddly, that's not an irrelevant ability. Sure is hard to abuse, though. ;)

Oops. Yeah, it should be that way round, especially if it's ambiguous.
