Boros' Betrayal
Sorcery
Boros' Betrayal deals 2 damage to each creature. You gain life equal to the damage dealt this way.
This seems to be the obvious RW card, but is very very anti-army. In fact, it probably needs to cost even more, or maybe have some restriction on gaining life only from creatures that actually die?
Having not looked at the rest of the cards yet, I think Jack is doing a good job proving how difficult the challenge is. He's right... this is anti-Boros. And Link's right. Boros made a number of anti-Boros cards (Blockbuster anyone?). If we get too strict with our definition of not-a-guild, there may be no cards to design. I don't know. I'm going to look at the other ones.
Yeah. The reality is that Wizards printed a lot of cards in the Ravnica blocks that kinda work against their guilds' strategies. Perhaps answers to this challenge would ideally be distanced from all such cards as well, but that's an extra level of difficulty even beyond how hard the challenge is turning out to be.

Feel Black ( Siphon Soul ) but clearly also exists as Brightflame. Odd.
Nice elf hate though. "Your tokens go pop and I gain integer overflow life." Oh, wait; there's a new challenge?
This seems very Boros to me, actually. As Vitenka mention, it's reminiscent of Brightflame, but it also feels like a big Lightning Helix.
