The only new "mechanic" will be the Elemental supertype - Not elemental as in the creature type, but elemental as in what 'element' a specific creature is linked to. A (((River Elemental))) for instance would have the Water supertype. There will be an entry under mechanics explaining how the five supertypes - Air, Fire, Earth, Water, Void will interact and affect the game.
