Even giants come in the “young and impulsive” variety.

I dislike that this could just as well cost . Makes the whole cycle less meaningful.
Two counters sounded too good in the moment I was putting it to paper (so to speak), particularly for .
for untap and a +1/+1 counter is bad. Even Burst of Strength is lackluster.
White rarely goes above 2 power for lifelink at a 3 CMC, and hasn’t done so in modern at all without a condition. Sure, it could be a card — Markov Patrician — but white’s never gotten there yet. Doesn’t feel too far out of the realm of white’s intentions, and is entirely plausible at .
My goal is to have cards that would functionally work mono-colored, but get helped into play faster if the right thematic “sister color” is present. I’m 100% open to suggestions for cards that would fit that bill.
The cycle does exist in both directions, hence the otherwise unusual order for the colors.
It feels wrong to have cards in these spots that might just as well cost (which is btw also correct color order if this cycle exists only in one direction).
Interesting and weird.
Oh yeah, you always put the hybrid cost first
Would the visuals of the cost bother people less if it were flipped?
Technically, if an artifact was doing the lifting, it would only work at sorcery speed for most of the first turn it’s online. After that, sure, instant unless otherwise specified.
I’ll take those into consideration, but for now it’s part of a cycle. If a better option for the card’s slot comes up, I could see this getting bumped.
An artifact could make two tokens for 4 at instant speed, so the double twobrid cost should be fine
