These manacosts of twobrid + another normal mana symbol look unpleasing to the eye...

That’s a visual/aesthetic design issue out of my control. Ironic, since I have a degree in graphic design.

Doesn’t affect the way the mechanical design works though, so I’m not going to stress about it.

It feels wrong to have cards in these spots that might just as well cost (which is btw also correct color order if this cycle exists only in one direction).

White rarely goes above 2 power for lifelink at a 3 CMC, and hasn’t done so in modern at all without a condition. Sure, it could be a card — Markov Patrician — but white’s never gotten there yet. Doesn’t feel too far out of the realm of white’s intentions, and is entirely plausible at .

My goal is to have cards that would functionally work mono-colored, but get helped into play faster if the right thematic “sister color” is present. I’m 100% open to suggestions for cards that would fit that bill.

The cycle does exist in both directions, hence the otherwise unusual order for the colors.
