Morph: This card has a secret identity. You may cast if face down as a 2/2 creature for {3}. Turn if face up any time for its morph cost. Used on 3 cards: 'Champion of the Masses', 'Sneaky Assassin' (name in prog), 'Clayface' (name in prog)

Bringing back morph to represent superheroes having secret identitites.

Champion: When this enters the battlefield, or is turned face up, sacrifice it unless you exile another THING you control until this leaves the battlefield. Used on 0 cards:

Potentially bringing back champion for flavour reasons. With morph can't be a dead draw. (maybe 'for as long this remains face up on the battlefield' or remove the 'turned face down' clause.)

Absorb: If a source would deal damage to this, prevent PARAM1 of that damage. Used on 1 cards: 'Forcefield Guy' (name in prog)
Investigate: Create a colorless Clue artifact token with "{2}, Sacrifice this artifact: Draw a card." Used on 3 cards: (Local Detective?), ('Master Journalist'), (Question the Dead)

Bringing back investigate as a great mechanic that is flavourful in a comic book/superhero set.

In card text or details pages, write the mechanic's code name (playtest name) between square brackets, like "[Crittercast]", "[Bushido 1]" or "[Delay 4 {2}{R}{R}]". It will be expanded to the mechanic's name plus reminder text, such as "Suspend 4 – {2}{r}{r}. (Rather than cast this spell from your hand,...)"
To expand a mechanic's name but not its reminder text, include parentheses at the end of the square brackets: "[Crittercast()]", "[Delay 9 {R}()]".
