Nice. Passing 4 would feel nicer at 3 :P

Two issues with passing:

  • It circumvents color. So any color of deck can use this from the graveyard.
  • According to the reminder text you exile it as an alternate cost to casting it, which does mean you put it on the stack, then exile it before it resolves? So you don't get to resolve it. Or if it somehow stays on the stack it resolves and goes to the graveyard again...

Eh, templating can sort that wording out, the intent is clear.

This being effecively colourless is a concern though. That could be salvaged by making this "Reduce the cost by one of the colours in each exiled card's cost" - but that also makes the size of the mechanic less flexible.

perhaps it could be only cards that share a color with the spell? that would make the reminder text even longer though. its still in mid-late development anyhow 1 thing for sure is passing will count as casting, and goes on stack. Also, the passing costs are high because it is SO easy to fill the yard. This set will also have exile synergies, so you are not just losing junk. It is meant to be like Scavenge, where you can sift things for value. Thanks for feedback. For now, it will most likely stay as written.
