Somewhat similarly, I've experimented with mono-
creatures with high toughness that have "All damage that would be dealt to ~ is dealt to you instead".
6 seems like a large number considering that you wouldn't normally get much more than a 2/2 with
. I might consider lowering it to as low as 4. It probably depends on the removal options available in the target environment.
I really like that this design can just go a little wild with the toughness since the creature is not going to cause a stalemate as a roadblock anyway.
A 2/4 for
could even be vanilla.
