Original Card: Roterothopter
Because, you know, why bother restricting? What's the worst that can happen? The card becomes moderately usable in the late game?
I do wonder if I've done enough, though. It ever bother anyone else that this card doesn't cost ? I mean, not the way either version is printed... I just mean it bothers me that any Thopter costs anything besides . It's like making a Kobold that costs . Seems wrong somehow. I suppose I could re-add the restriction... but that seems wrong, too.
It's annoying when Melvin and Vorthos fight.
Never bothered me that this doesn't cost . This is precisely an Ornithopter with an upgrade bolted on to allow it to deal damage (presumably the engine from a Dragon Engine). Seems fine to increase the cost in order to address that notable downside to Ornithopter.

:) But no, I don't see a problem either. I think "costs 0" is just ornithopter itself, and any other thopters are fine as "fragile and small flier" not "actually 0".
For that matter, even the original version of this card looked plausible to me: not constructed playable, but midrange in limited: I flier blocker in any colour that can potentially attack for two could easily close out a game.
True that. I would rather have me some Vampire Bats, but there was never anything really wrong with Rotero. Just a little underpowered nowadays, but nothing major.
