I think the rules text as written only reduces the cost of red-blue gold cards by
. Compare with Edgewalker and in particular its reminder text. Is that what you were going for, or did you want the discount of 
on a red spell to pay for 
?
The reminder text here is also somewhat confusing: if I've got two Edgewalkers and three Pearl Medallions out and I cast Urbis Protector for
, its converted mana cost is still 6.
The reminder text is inaccurate in any case. This card would allow you to cast Embodiment of Spring or Magma Spray for free. The rule text should iclude the same "This effect reduces only the amount of colored mana you pay." line that is on Edgewalker and Ragemonger, though.
Um. Not Embodiment of Spring or Magma Spray, unless there was a Painter's Servant out or you're using Trait Doctoring. Izzet Guildmage or Nivix Guildmage would be free though, certainly.
Oh geeze youre right, I completely missed the weird reverse color thing.
1) The reminder text is still incorrect. You need to have it as actual rules text. 2) Why would you want to include that rule? This cycle is interesting, but that rule on all of them makes it too niche.
