Land's Edge in Planar Chaos. I was gonna make this a magus, but PLC had land-based magi.

The "Any player may" is a bit of a kick in the teeth given it's got a coloured cost.
Good call! Normally I wouldn't change the design, because I own to my errors, but this one is egregious enough (and the thread hasn't had a new answer posted at MTGS) that I will edit.

Annnd now possibly a bit too scary. (Turn 2 or 3, discard 5 or 6 lands for a finishing move.) Though I guess a cost of
doesn't make it much less possible.
"Finishing move" if you've already dealt 10 damage. I guess it's not bad in an aggro red deck as a way to deal the last 4 to the face. There's already Land's Edge, Seismic Assault and Lightning Storm in this kind of space.
