What was wrong with AEther Storm?

Can only have four copies of Æther Storm :P

hahaha

I'm also not joking, I had a deck with 4 copies of AEStorm and 4 Copies of copy Enchantment, it was fun. along with vapors and a few wraths.

If you want your friends to hate you, may I suggest adding Pithing Needle to that deck, calling "Aether Storm"?

It had those too, but they get blown up very quickly.

I'll find another effect for this card then, any suggestions, I'd like to keep the name.

I don't see a problem with spinning off of Aether Storm. Why not turn it into something like "Whenever a player casts a creature spell, sacrifice ~. If you do, deal 4 damage to that player." Seems playable, is a nod to the original card, but isn't the exact same.

Also, if anyone asks if JMGariepy advocated for blue direct damage... tell them I wasn't here. ;)

I advocate it too, sometimes :P

I'll see what I can come up with.
