Cute, but very, very weak. I think should gain at least two life. Also:

Changed it to gain 2 life if you have a white permanent.

It's not entirely clear what this does... I would change it to:

You gain 1 life. If you control a white permanent, you gain 3 life instead. (Lands are colorless.)
