Hmm. So it's like flashback but that can only be used when casting another instant spell? Not sure if it's different enough to flashback to be worth it. I could be wrong though.

It's an interesting limitation on flashback, I can get behind it.

Why bother exiling it? It's not like Splice onto Arcane ever required you to exile the spell... it just took advantage of the fact that all those little tack on effects cost mana. I would think people would find that more fun...

I like it. It's got the same problem buyback has (repeatable effects can get boring), but that just makes this mechanic a 'sometimes food'. I could defiantly imagine a block where this mechanic was peppered throughout... then possibly a return to it in a core set.

Yeah, I like this now. You'd have to carefully watch it to make sure the accumulation of repeatable effects didn't get dominant and oppressive, but I think this has potential for a lot of fun play.
