Is that supposed to be a triggered ability that works from a hidden zone? That doesn't even work. And if it did, it wouldn't be common anyway.

Paying mana to gain mana makes little sense here. Is that purely a color check?

Both this one and Angry Hivedweller were reaching/uncertain designs for sure. I was struggling to come up with common landfall abilities in all colors in some way that effects the card itself.
