See Beezalphor, the Corruptor.

Concept was Elemental Vampire.

>"Legarch is a mythical revered presence on his plane. He tends to the world as his garden. He nourishes and he reaps as he pleases, but also always taking care his crops thrive.

Legarch stands above and apart from the rulers. He is not concerned with the squabbles of mortals except when they threaten the diversity of the harvest. In such cases he takes care of the weed.

At times a mortal considers their power adequate to take on Legarch and attempts to bring him to fall. Though to this day Legarch remains and of his challengers remain only cautionary tales."

I consider also the trigger condition "Whenever a nontoken creature dies" for the eminence ability.
