Throne of Eldraine frames in different context.

I used to imagien using a similar "split text box" as the Adventure cards now have to represent cards that could be turned into Contraption tokens.

Now with a framework of rules for Contraptions in place I can still imagine this technology being used.

Cards with a blueprint text box can be assembled in place of the top card of your "Contraption deck" - giving you more control over the process.

The effect of the Contraption is supposed to always offset or take into account the inherent card disadvantage of using a card from your hand to assemble, which is why this Contraption is so much more efficient than e. g. Optical Optimizer.
