So... double-cast a spell from a graveyard. Um... including this one... so the second time you cast this, it goes infinite? Ouchie.
Assuming it is changed to exile itself; this is certainly interesting.
You still need infinite mana. I'd have to consider it...
Blightning means twelve mana for "12 damage and discard eight".
I'm weirdly okay with that at rare. Ok, but with Rituals you can go infinite... eight mana and Cabal Ritual with threshold adds ten mana and you still have one copy of Restoration of Kess on the stack, so now you can go infinite with color fixing available. Songs of the Damned can probably push this down to seven mana.
Hmmm... that's more problematic. Maybe just exiling the card you cast is enough? That way this cannot be doubled more than once by itself, and right now every "fair" use of it seems underwhelming.
Oh! Oh, it just enables your ability to cast it, as though in your hand; you don't actually get it cast.
I misunderstood that.
Yeah; if you have to pay for the thing you're flashing it's fine.
Or just cast Time Walk every turn. That's the real reason Kess exiles the card you cast with her
