The goal was to give it an ability from each color. and I'll be changing Intimidate for "can only be blocked by red or artifact creatures.

It's almost Archivist you can still tap it with another effect and still get the draw and the opponent detain your creature to keep you from drawing either.

Heh. 16 life on turn 1 for a 5/5 trample vigilant? Yeah, why not. Except rather than vigilance I'd rather make this unable to block, so that going down to 4 life is a real risk against any aggressive deck, rather than only a risk against aggressive flying or burn decks.

The key concept is that one option is card advantage, in its purest form, and the other option is not. It might possibly get taken if it was "untap all lands he or she controls".

This kind of casting cost... Personally I don't like it. {2} {g} {u} already requires you to play it in a deck that can make green and blue mana. {g} {g} {u} {u} , {g} {g/u} {g/u} {u} , all these kinds of thing don't add any further requirement, they just make it a bit harder to cast. It would still get played in rainbow tournament decks that are stuffed full of dual lands; it'd just make it harder for the casual player who doesn't have tons of dual lands to actually cast this shiny planeswalker they got.

Some I have been but I've been juggling putting cards up and caring for my 3 month old daughter. When I have her in one arm I've been just copying and pasting things over.

After looking I agree that this should be a rare, though I'm not sure it should cost more than four given how easy it is to kill/remove. Overbeing of Myth cost more and so much due to the fact that it could be anything from a 1/1 to a 7/7 or bigger still if you ran Spellbook
