I'm wondering if the ability is too black. With red being allowed to discard for tutoring now, I'm hoping that red can take advantage additional advantage of that.
I originally had it produce a colorless as well, but it looked it weird.
I think underdwell is a fairly interesting mechanic (it's on lots of cards in the set). I worry it might be too hard to block, too much like shadow, but I think it's interesting enough to keep and to try.
And in regards to size, mythics are allowed to be kinda huge, even artifact creatures; the poster child for that is Wurmcoil Engine, though I think perhaps that's considered to be a mistake now because it was basically the sixth Titan.
On the other ability, though, Vitenka is absolutely right - this needs to be written "proliferate twice", not some confusing "prosperity" keyword.
Iiinteresting. I think I like it, but it feels like it ought to be a 1/1 creature (probably green) rather than a land. It certainly doesn't want to be common because it's not useful enough, it's not going to be worth playing most of the time.
Alternatively, let this tap for
as an alternative to the tap-sac effect. Then this could sit at common (though it might still be better at uncommon) and could be happily thrown into a deck for the occasional minor acceleration.
Probably no need. In order to break it you'd need two of this, plus some other artifact that either taps for 7+ mana (a giant Everflowing Chalice or three copies of Thran Dynamo) or is stupendously powerful to double-untap. (Even Lux Cannon probably doesn't hit that description, until you're quadruple-untapping it.)
Compare with Unwinding Clock. This is fine; it could probably even go down to
to activate.
I think the keywords are making this a lot wordier than it would be without them.
"May block while tapped" is an interesting idea. But "Vigilant, Unblockable" is a lot simpler.
And finally, of course, "you may Proliferate twice" is a lot simpler than prosperity.
Interesting critter though. Extremely efficient for colourless, even ignoring proliferate.
Should I put a clause in here so Resonator Rejuvenator can't untap other Resonator Rejuvenators?
Sure, but copying stuff is the closest blue gets to reviving; so it seems a legit way to colour shift the ability.
I wasn't aware of Argivian Archaeologist. Since this isn't technically bringing an artifact back in anyway and putting out another I'm pretty confident that this would be blue.
"Antique Refurbisher"?
A colour shifted Argivian Archaeologist? I can kinda see it.
Good point, Guttersnipe is the best comparison. Gelectrode is the other that springs to mind, which is just 1 damage but can hit creatures too. This would probably be fine if it could hit a creature, but it's okay as is.
