This should maybe even cost
since with the current archetypes nearly done this is a super good control piece. There's still 4/5ths of a set to go (at least, that's not counting anything wurms comes up with)
Being able to get this on turn 3 rather than turn 4 is probably a bit spooky. Early turns are important and can be game-defining.
This being able to stop a player from getting any value from Kolvis Stormfather isn't good, probs.
Thanks for the reference, will remove life gain in favor of just damage instead. This does count for all cards put in hand from any effect/any zone, so it's quite a bit better in the right matchup... however it does it at the end of turn, so they have lots of time to see it coming and deal with it.
Dreams wouldn't cost triple black these days, but it's still a pretty solid card. I don't think you'd get the life gain effect on a mono colored card, just because that's pretty easy to break
That's two steps up from Underworld Dreams. I know that's an old card from Legends, but they just reprinted it in Theros: Beyond Death, so Wizards must think it's fair in some capacity.
Name fix
Probably one of the most powerful control cards in this set so far.
only gonna get stronger with other archetypes that this shuts down.
Luckily we have removal. Will be printing more, especially since Sagas are printed here.
Enchants permanent because of many different card types in this set like Necromancer's Study, Cursed Engine, Thundering Champion and Horrific Decay can deal damage to you. Thought lots of them won't if you play smart or don't get unlucky.
I've also changed some stuff in the last days to deal damage rather than losing life as well, for this card's purpose.
3/2 --> 3/3
2/3 --> 3/2
I stayed up until 5 AM reading the comprehensive rules last night and was surprised to see for myself that making a land Swamp removes all it's abilities!! What?? That's like if making a creature a vampire made them lose trample!
Honestly, still don't understand wtf priority is. but it seems to work, at least.
This should definitely say 'in addition', so i'm keeping it like that. Mostly because there's lots of juicy lands to steal with this card in this set, plus Drezgorian Ancient with this can be extra mean.

Compare to Diabolic Tutor and Scheming Symmetry
This is the same power level as diabolic tutor but I'm costing it as
instead of

Also, I'm costing the overload as
because this is weaker than scheming symmetry, considering that can let you just choose teammates or if you're playing FFA, pick a player who promises not to be mean to you (aka multiplayer politics in a nut shell)
All-in-all, this card isn't very abusable at all and it's very cool. Funnily enough, you can always Imposed Apathy that player if you have the mana and they've got two other cards this turn in their hand this turn.
Wow, that's a nasty combo. Make someone discard their win condition they picked themselves if BRUTAL. Also, just to be safe, you can put Curse of the Marsh in your Somnomancy deck, just to abuse your friends.
3B to 4B and overload 1B to overload B
Should the overload cost more than 4?
changed costs
call of the sea 3 1u to 4 1u
4/2 --> 3/4
1/1 --> 1/3
sorry :(
I'm still upset you called him lamer than a firebender please apologize or im taking the kids.
