Makes it less useful than the others though. And Shadowmoor does have a presence of
Faeries IIRC.
That is correct; the Faeries in Lorwyn/Shadowmoor were the ine group that never shifted colors. Thos card finishes a meta-cycle.
This taps for U/B on both aspects.
I think this is nicely executed.
I'm not saying it's bad, but the p/t stats feel pushed for common.
Frequently, cards that do things like this have that aspect or are large enough to explain why a target creature would acquire the abilities. Either via size (giants throwing critters) or as a ride.
This doesn't have either and that sticks out to me as odd.
Given the limitation of target, is this overcosted? Other red commons do 3 damage off the top.
Should Wristbiter have flying?
I really don't dig this, as it's mining the same mechanical territory as Cohort did (which was, if I recall, poorly received) for a benefit that just is not there.
If you're going to make players invest 2 cards like this, at least let them draw 2/3 keep 1/2. Even then I'm not super fond but the rewards are worth it.
I’m inclined to go with SecretInfiltrator’s take. It’d make it more consistent with Singe the Edges. Not so much with Light Brigade, but that one’s a kittle clearer in its intent.
The rules probably cope; the players probably don't.
"creature with keyword" is an unambiguous wording.
You wouldn't call a tapped creature "creature with tapped".
That said I would just allow this to transform creatures with either form of Aspect to cull confusion before it can come up.
That has that aspect available to it; or that currently is that aspect?
Maybe word it as explicitly "Transform ... to blah-aspect"?
