You're very right about the enchanted permanent thing.
Had never seen that card, this is perhaps maybe a little too weak for today's uncommon slot, any suggestions on giving it a slight tweak? or should i just reprint angelic renewal at uncommon?
Yeah, answers are: no, yes and no, they deal damage back only if they block it with an untapped creature (asign blockers to it) but yeah they have so little text i could probably add reminder text and maybe extend the cycle to a vertical one within red and maybe spash it to green/white.
The wording i could come up with for the reminder text is a bit iffy and etensive, any advice on how to make it more concise?
Hmm... I still dont think this is all really powerful, but i will test it, i still chrome mox can be in most cases better than this since it can tap the turn it enters and it doenst cost, of course, chrome mox was meant to be really powerful and format defining, which im not sure about this guy, his role was to help control decks fight aggro especially mono red which testing has showed to be the strongest archetype in this set.
Yeah the power level of this one is really high, i wanted to give ramp and midrange a good punch but perhaps it was too much, maybe i should take trample off and/or make it a 5/4?
Nice Knight design, "first strike plus another ability". Makes him play a bit like Cho-Manno, Revolutionary, which is perhaps a bit strong.
Reprint of Angelic Renewal, except non-optional.
I know Reverse Damage was rare, but these days Harm's Way type effects tend to be uncommon.
Even ignoring everything after the first line, this is much better than any colour but green has had access to since Sol Ring.
I don't think Naturalize has been obsoleted before. But it's pretty unlikely to cast Naturalize on turn 2, so you're probably okay.
