A color pie and mechanics nightmare, I know.

Red does get fighting and white does get a little reanimation, but yeah, this totally feels RB or GB.

Yeah, this is one of those instances where the mechanics I want to use to represent the character don't fit that character's colors. This could be a good example of bad design.

I think there's enough precedence for the reanimation. You could do "if that creature would die this turn, instead remove all damage from it and gain control of it," but that might be even less Boros. I think just cut the activated ability clause.
