I don't quite understand the wording. What's the "exile" bit about? And it seems unnecessary to say "all monocoloured and multicoloured creatures" - it'd be cleaner to just say "all coloured creatures", or more straightforwardly "all creatures". Note that Final Judgment cost 6 and exiled all creatures.

Aha, that makes sense now. So if I cast this with X=2:

  • All monocoloured creatures are destroyed.
  • All multicoloured creatures with CMC 2 or less are exiled.
  • All multicoloured creatures with CMC 3 or greater are untouched.
  • All colourless creatures are untouched.

Another wording error on my part. If X=2 I mean that all monocolored creatures with a CMC less than 2 are destroyed.

Hmmm. Tricky to word that in an unambiguous way. I think your options are either the verbose - "Destroy all monocolored creatures with a CMC less than or equal to X, and exile all multicolored creatures with a CMC less than or equal to X" - or the fiddly - "Destroy all coloured creatures with a CMC less than or equal to X. If a multicoloured creature would be destroyed this way, exile it instead."
