That's a really wonky ability. I'm not sure how do to it properly, but that's definitely not it. Transform is a keyword action, not a property of a card. Maybe "when you cast a creature spell with flying, transform it?" That will usually be the same.
Changed "enter the battlefield transformed." text to care about revolution like all other cards of that mechanic.
Dude1818: the Flip-Planeswalkers, and a few other cards show that Transformed can be used with this syntax.
I like that this creates a token that you can use the trigger revolution.
Swapped the order of the abilities to be more consistant.
I really like this now, though it seems quite pushed. A 2/3 with a flier for
is already good, but with Revolution it's getting kinda wacky good. I think this would be fair at 2/2 -> 3/3.
Front side 2/3 -> 2/2, Back side 4/3 -> 3/3
This is weird it doesn't ETB with a thopter if the revolution has started.
The exact p/t can be debated. 2/2 is still reasonable. Effectively Grey Ogres with upside are still pretty ok
fixed revolution text
On whole felt really solid. However, missing out on the thopter is a very real thing.
Possible solution: add to the back side
> When ~ ETBs, if it entered the battlefield transformed, put a 1/1 colorless Thopter artifact creature token with flying onto the battlefield.
But that comes at the expense of making the back side much more wordy, which probably isn't worth it.
Alternatively, we could give it flying on the front side and make a thopter on the back like many of the the Backside "Transform or ETB effects on file". Still, I like (((Giant Laborer))) as is though, so this being less than optimal keeps that card the way it is.
*shrug
Make the backside a 4/3 or 3/4 and it will probably start looking a lot more desirable. I think not making the thopter during the revolution is fine, especially if we flavor this as a worker on consul thopters who realizes how they are being used in the dystopian regime.
I have the feeling that it is a problem, and we're going to want to keep ETB effects out of common.
